A unique miniature world

Mini-Europe is a park featuring all the wonders of Europe, in miniature. Bonsai trees, flowery groves and dwarf trees embellish the 350 monuments which have been reproduced at scale 1/25. Thousands of lifelike figurines and animations! Set off the eruption of the Vesuvius and admire the takeoff of the Ariane rocket. The two hour walk, which is both entertaining and educational, will let you (re)discover the 27 member states of the European Union + United Kingdom and their historical, architectural and cultural wealth. The park encourages exchange and emotion during the visit, which lasts between one and a half and two hours. More than 10 million visitors have walked the park’s trails.

Unrivalled quality of artistry

The park exhibits more than 350 monuments which were selected for their architectural quality and their European symbolism. They are reproduced to the finest detail. The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela alone required 24,000 hours of work. Many statues of the Grand-Place of Brussels are painted with real gold leaves. In the Seville arena, 6,000 figurines were placed, one by one, to attend the bullfight. The Big Ben is 4 meters tall. At 13 meters, the Eiffel Tower is taller than a 3-storey building. Yet, all the buildings are on a scale of 1/25.

A trip full of surprises

Destroy a section of the Berlin wall, set off the eruption of the Vesuvius, launch an attack of legionnaires or scare the Vikings. Operate the many interactive live action animations, from the Bells of Stockholm to the Windmills at Kinderdijk, to (re)discover Europe as you never have before.

There is a whole miniature world hiding behind the monuments

Behind the captivating universe of the miniature monuments, the dramatization and live action animations, relive our surprising common history with its values and heritage! From the origins of democracy to the enterprising spirit, from our Greek, Roman or Viking heritage to the political transformations of the 21st century, you will find commentary at every stage of the journey in the free catalogue that is teeming with information and anecdotes that will delight all children, inquisitives and history fanatics.
In Mini-Europe there are many miniature scenes that illustrate the history of Europe, but also Europe today. A demonstration of Catalan separatists, Boris Johnson and his gavel signing “Get Brexit done”, solidarity with Ukraine, the climate battle with Greta Thunberg, etc. The park changes daily. On the Grand Place of Brussels you will discover famous characters such as actor Jean-Claude Vandamme, singer Stromae, and astronaut Dirk Frimout, in Germany you will find Angela Merkel and many others.

Stroll through our beautiful gardens

Mini-Europe is also the place to take a stroll through a beautiful park of almost 2,5 hectares decorated by all kinds of flowers. In fact, the gardens are decorated by no less than 60.000 plants and flowers of 150 different species from Europe and elsewhere. In a constant drive for enhanced realism and perfection, natural ground surfaces have been placed around the models and miniature trees. Bonsais and other plants have been planted, not forgetting the fountains and streams found on each site. Each plant gets strategically set according to its original setting and region in Europe: lavender from the Provence, grass from Spain… Along the wide pathways, the course is embellished by more traditional plants, as well as waterfalls, pools and fountains, which make Mini-Europe one of the greenest gardens in Brussels. Our pathways are completely accessible for persons with a reduced mobility.
