Places of knowledge, economic and technological development have their place in Mini-Europe. The inclusion of the Endeavour ship and its Captain provided an opportunity to look at how European nations have influenced the world and shaped the future. This ship and Captain James Cook pushed the boundaries of the known world at the time, mapping and charting the coastlines of New Zealand and Australia. He was also the first European to make contact with the people living there. Because of his historical importance and as a symbol of the Age of Enlightenment, the great discoveries and the dissemination of European civilisation, Mini-Europe wanted to honour Captain Cook and his ship, the Endeavour. His first voyage had a huge impact on the seafaring and economic development of England, Europe and the world.

To celebrate the inauguration of the model, the miniature replica of James Cook will follow his journey to the Austral seas and back to his Endeavour in the Mini-Europe park in Brussels.

The Captain of the Seatrade Blue ship will welcome the miniature replica of Captain James Cook and give him the opportunity to sail out to sea and reach Australia and New Zealand. Mini Captain Cook – accompanied by the miniature European turtle – will have the honour of staying on the bridge with the Captain of the Seatrade Blue, the freighter that will follow a similar route to that of Captain Cook many years ago. Seatrade specialises in transporting perishables and other sensitive cargo.

Using standard measurements and historical details, the Chief Model Maker designed the 3D model of James Cook’s miniature. Using contemporary and historical references, he attempted to make the figure as lifelike as possible at a scale of 1:25. He was designed to fit into his ship, at the stern of HMS Endeavour.

Zittern Sie vor Angst an Halloween@Mini-Europe

Während der Herbstferien bietet Mini-Europe Halloween@Mini-Europe an. Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, zwei Wochen lang in die Welt von Halloween und seinen klassischen, lebensgroßen Dekorationen, Hexen und Kürbissen einzutauchen. Es ist vor allem eine Gelegenheit zu entdecken, wie die Mini-Skelette und Mini-Zombies die Miniaturwelt von Mini-Europa auf den Kopf gestellt haben. Spinnen sind in den Eiffelturm eingedrungen und Zombies (die gute Mama und ihr kleines Mädchen) erschaffen einen verrückten und humorvollen Vergnügungspark. Natürlich wäre Mini-Europa nicht Mini-Europa, wenn nicht ein kulturelles Element hinzugefügt würde, indem beispielsweise das Schicksal der Hexen im Mittelalter oder die Geschichte von Frankenstein beschrieben würde.

Vom 19. Oktober bis 3. November lässt Mini-Europa vor Angst zittern – aber auch vor Vergnügen zittern. Zu diesem Anlass nimmt der Park die Farben von Halloween an: Hunderte von Skeletten und Monstern haben den Park auf den Kopf gestellt. Es ist eine Party für Skelette und Zombies im Lunapark, aber auch im und unter dem Friedhof. Was ist mit dem Flugzeugabsturz am Flughafen passiert? Und dort drüben, ist es die Geisterbahn oder die Geisterbahn? Es gibt Tausende von Details zu beobachten. Erwähnen wir auch die Revolte der Figuren gegen den Modellbauer: Sie zerschmetterten ihm die Arme, bohrten ihn, klebten ihn und bemalten ihn.

Getreu seinem Ruf legt Mini-Europa großen Wert darauf, seine Besucher mit Spaß und Humor zu unterhalten, aber auch unser europäisches Erbe hervorzuheben. Zusätzliche Unterhaltung ist für den 30. und 31. Oktober und 1. November

Von Mittwoch, 30. Oktober, bis Freitag, 1. November, werden unsere bekannten Modelle im Maßstab 1:25 von Live-Schauspielern und Statisten besucht, die den Park noch mehr zum Leben erwecken. Drei Tage lang profitieren die Besucher von zusätzlicher Unterhaltung. Während Ihres Besuchs treffen Sie möglicherweise auf einen Hotelpagen, der Ballons formt und sein Spukhotel sucht, auf einen Piraten auf der Suche nach Abenteuern, der Sie zu einem Schwertkampf herausfordert, oder auf den Todesengel, der Ihnen das Blut gefrieren lässt. !
Ein Make-up-Stand ermöglicht es den Besuchern, sich einen noch ausgeprägteren Horror-Look zu gönnen.
